The NSEF Executive Director provides leadership for and management of fundraising, NSEF awareness, community engagement / support, and board development to enhance the financial welfare of Noblesville Schools.

• Leads NSEF in the successful execution of fundraising initiatives to support the mission of providing needed financial support to Noblesville Schools
• Provide leadership for and manage fundraising and community relations for NSEF
• Prepare strategic and annual operating plans for NSEF
• Implement marketing and public relations tactics aligned with Noblesville Schools to ensure NSEF events are highlighted in the local community at large
• Serve as the liaison between NSEF and the community to further advance the fundraising activities of NSEF. Specific groups to maintain open communication with and support from include the Noblesville Schools Administration, the School Board members, the City of Noblesville elected officials, the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce President, and individual school principals and PTO presidents.
• Prepare an annual budget to support the fundraising programs
• Conduct all administrative duties (meeting agendas, minutes, committee meetings, donor recognition, etc.) in a timely manner
• Identify and cultivate individual, corporate, and NSEF funding prospects
• Conduct major and planned gift solicitations, as well as annual giving programs
• Event planning to include the annual district Teacher of the Year program
• District annual scholarship solicitation
• Facilitate and manage teacher grant program
• Direct major fundraising events and Noblesville Schools capital campaigns
• Create NSEF communication messages, in alignment with Noblesville Schools, aimed at increasing community awareness of NSEF and raising funds. This includes the creation of press releases when applicable, regular e-mail messages, paid advertising when needed, social media engagement strategies, and regular updates to the NSEF web site.
• Recruit, select, and train volunteers
• Coordinate with the NSEF volunteer treasurer to ensure timely (monthly) and accurate book keeping and information sharing regarding the Foundation's financial condition
• Write grants to increase income flow and increased ability to offer innovative educational opportunities to students and staff
• Assure compliance with all pertinent federal, state, and local laws, relevant contractual obligations, and recognized reporting standards applicable to fundraising
• Perform related duties as assigned by NSEF and Noblesville Schools
• Collaborate with the Noblesville Schools Director of Marketing and Communications
• Assist with alignment and coordination of fundraising efforts throughout Noblesville Schools

• Commitment to Noblesville Schools and a passion for raising money to support them
• Volunteer management experience
• Proven fundraising experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• High level of personal initiative
• Ability to successfully manage organizational details and deadlines
• Confidentiality is required with all donors and foundation materials

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
• A minimum of three years of successful fundraising and institutional development experience

• Demonstrate record of successful, creative fundraising projects
• Demonstrate ability in making effective presentations and written proposals
• Demonstrate commitment to and sensitivity in working with faculty, staff, and students, as well as diverse community groups
• This position requires an ethical person with the ability to be flexible and innovative, organized, and detail oriented
