Wheeler Mission Ministries is current looking for a Servant Leader to fill the position of Food Service Manager.
 
This is a great opportunity for a dynamic Christian leader who wants to serve as an operational manager in a fast-paced food service environment and has a desire to do Kingdom work.  Candidates must be Serv-Safe Certified and willing to lead food service staff and volunteers and complete other tasks such as preparing meals, managing orders or donations, and assisting the Director of Food Service as needed.  Additionally, they must be excited about working in a unique and caring Christian environment at Wheeler Mission Ministries' Center for Women and Children in Indianapolis in service to the community and the Mission and Vision of Wheeler Mission Ministries.

Wheeler Mission Ministries is a non-denominational, Christian, social services organization, which provides critically needed goods and services to the homeless, poor, and needy of Central Indiana without regard to race, color, creed, national origin or religion. 

Wheeler Mission collaborates and works with many churches throughout Central Indiana that are concerned about poverty and homelessness in the inner city.

Founded in 1893, Wheeler is the oldest continuously operating ministry of its kind in the state.  Wheeler provides alcohol/drug addiction recovery programs and homeless shelter services to men and women in the Indianapolis and Bloomington communities.  Wheeler operates dozens of ministries, with an annual budget of $8.8 million, and 154 employees, Wheeler is the largest and most diverse ministry of its kind in the state of Indiana.

Employment is conditional and dependent on the applicant's successful completion of a thorough background investigation and drug and alcohol screening.
