Wheeler Mission Ministries is current looking for a Servant Leader to fill the position of:  Receptionist.
This position is a great opportunity for a dynamic Christian leader who wants to greet and provide ministry information to Wheeler's visitors, assist with donor mailings and administrative volunteers, and perform other administrative duties as needed.  As the Receptionist is often the first employee guests meet at the Administrative Building, this individual must be professional, warm, and courteous while performing all tasks.  They must also be excited about working in a unique and caring Christian environment in service to the community and the Mission and Vision of Wheeler Mission Ministries.

Wheeler Mission Ministries is a non-denominational, Christian, social services organization, which provides critically needed goods and services to the homeless, poor, and needy of Central Indiana without regard to race, color, creed, national origin or religion. 

Wheeler Mission collaborates and works with many churches throughout Central Indiana that are concerned about poverty and homelessness in the inner city.

Founded in 1893, Wheeler is the oldest continuously operating ministry of its kind in the state.  Wheeler provides alcohol/drug addiction recovery programs and homeless shelter services to men and women in the Indianapolis and Bloomington communities.  Wheeler operates dozens of ministries, with an annual budget of $8.8 million, and 154 employees, Wheeler is the largest and most diverse ministry of its kind in the state of Indiana.

Employment is conditional and dependent on the applicant's successful completion of a thorough background investigation and drug and alcohol screening.
