The Metropolitan Indianapolis Central Indiana Area Health Education Center (MICI-AHEC) at the University of Indianapolis seeks applications for an Executive Director. This is a full-time, grant-funded, exempt staff position.

The Executive Director provides overall programmatic and administrative leadership for AHEC activities within the metro Indianapolis and central Indiana region.  This position has primary responsibility for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating MICI-AHEC finances, program development, board development, and personnel. The Executive director develops and coordinates programs with a variety of academic and community partners and measures program effectiveness. The Executive Director works in concert with and insures compliance with commitments to the Indiana University School of Medicine, the IN-AHEC office, the Indiana State Department of Health and HRSA. The Executive Director works with the MICI-AHEC host, the University of Indianapolis, to implement the MICI-AHEC strategic plan and collaborates on common strategic initiatives. This position provides supervision to a staff of 6-10 individuals who serve in the rolls of project and outreach coordinators.

Qualifications:
Master's degree required in business, health, or education administration or other health/public health field. Three to five years of experience in rural, urban, and/or multi/cultural healthcare environments. Experience with development and delivery of educational programs using a variety of delivery modes to youth and adult learners. Experience with community development and/or health professions education and training.
