Full-time professional position with a small, but high-performing, community non-profit that has invested more than $15 million in single- and multi-family affordable housing in Indianapolis core urban neighborhoods over the past ten years.  This position will be responsible for planning and day-to-day implementation of the organization's singlefamily housing rehab, new infill construction, home repair, blight elimination, and other targeted neighborhood housing revitalization projects and programs.  
Primary activities of the position include:
•  Collecting, maintaining, and analyzing housing and market information.
•  Conducting  project feasibility analysis, due diligence, and pre-development activities.
•  Creating, tracking, and reporting on project work flows, schedules, budgets and proformas.
•  Coordination of spec-writing, bidding, and construction management services.
•  Preparing construction contracts and overseeing contract compliance.
•  Tracking and assisting with property acquisitions, dispositions, and property & asset management.
•  Marketing homes for sale & rent and assisting homebuyers and renters throughout process.
•  Interfacing and coordination of work with project and program partners.
•  Proposal, RFP, and report writing, research and preparation of grant funding applications.
•  Maintaining grant-related and other regulatory compliance for assigned projects and programs.
The position will also be an active participant in the organization's community outreach & stakeholder engagement activities, as well as supporting its social media and web-based communications & marketing.
•  3-5 years of professional experience in real estate development, finance, or sales, property management, residential construction/rehab, urban planning, or other directly-related field.  (Advanced degree may substitute for a portion of experience.)
•  High-level proficiency w/ Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, and basic functional ability w/ WordPress and ESRI ArcGIS software.
•  Working knowledge of CDBG & HOME programs and their utilization to support urban housing and economic development. 
•  Highly organized, detail-oriented and analytical, with demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability.
•  Strong verbal & written communications skills and ability to work in a small diverse team environment.
