This position performs administrative tasks and problem solving of a confidential nature requiring discretion and exercise of independent judgment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are prerequisite. Work is performed with minimal or no direction in accordance with departmental priorities and company policies.

Minimum Responsibilities:
• Responds to and acknowledges in letter form if necessary calls regarding Missionary Relationships, mission co-worker visits, Global Ministries resources and opportunities or reroutes as appropriate
• Manages reporting and budget/warrant information from the Mission Personnel Office Process journal entries, check requests and wire transfers
• Coordinates with Executive of Mission Engagement communication relating to the weekly prayer, the production of brochures and other communication needs from the Mission Engagement team
• Makes travel arrangements, calendars, and documents and tracks speaking assignments, and purchases tickets for mission co-workers speaking schedules.
• Coordinates with mission co-workers to collect weekly prayers according to the calendar, and works with the area office and the mission engagement office to proof, format, and post the prayers
• Enters data into Raisers Edge of newly added constituents from the website
• Post news items and adjust content on the Global Ministries' website

Performs other duties as necessary and required

• Minimum of five years secretarial experience
• Good oral and written English language skills, including skills in proofreading and editing; ability to compose own correspondence
• Ability to work with people in a sensitive, tactful, diplomatic manner
• Good judgement and discretion in sharing reports and handling correspondence; ability to maintain confidentiality concerning personnel and policy matters
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
• Computer literate in Microsoft office programs, desktop publishing, website management, database software and posting to websites (visual editor)
