The Trainings Program Manager is responsible for management and facilitation of the Advocates Group as well as the @Work Project. The Trainings Program Manager is also responsible for developing and conducting trainings on domestic violence and sexual assault within the community, particularly businesses. This position will coordinate and provide the in Her Shoes Domestic Violence Simulation. Will oversee the DVN Self Sufficiency/Emergency Transportation Funds and prepare reports for grants associates with the program. Responsible for distributing resources to meet grant requirements.


• Manage and facilitate the Advocates Group
• Develop new partnerships and manage existing partnerships within the community to help grow the Advocates Group
• Develop new partnerships and manage existing partnerships within the community for @Work
• Engage community members in the DVN collaborative projects
• Collect data as related to the Advocates Group, @Work, and EMT/SSF
• Prepare reports on the EMT/SSF projects
• Schedule educational sessions
• Develop and prepare all materials and tool kits for educational sessions
• Develop, administer and track pre and post tests
• Deliver educational sessions
• Maintain educational session attendance records
• Maintain follow up records with session attendees and organizations
• Deliver DV Simulations
• Ensure resources are distributed to the community

Note: The essential functions of this job may be revised or updated as facility needs dictate.

• Other duties as assigned

Work Schedule: 36 hours per week M-F with some evenings and weekends

• Must be available to work varying hours including evenings and weekends when community events and other activities create the necessity

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience in program planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Knowledge and experience in building strong professional and collaborative relationships.
• Experience teaching or leading workshops, training sessions or meetings.
• Working knowledge of non-profits preferred.
• Experience preparing evaluation and project progress reports.
• Ability to assess information and determine appropriate course of action or next steps.
• Knowledge of domestic violence issues is essential.
• Ability to organize and coordinate meetings.
• Public speaking and strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Experience in Microsoft Office programs.
• Resourcefulness in solving problems.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Staying informed of trends and community planning in domestic violence and sexual assault.
• Knowledge of strategic planning and project management.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and obtain results within allotted time, as well as, make rational, sound judgments and judicious decisions quickly, often under pressure.
• Ability to facilitate meetings.
