A dynamic community development and public health consulting company is looking for an Office Manager to organize and coordinate administrative duties and office procedures and provide administrative support to the consultants. The role is to create and maintain a pleasant and productive work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness and communication.

Office Manager responsibilities include scheduling meetings and appointments, making office supplies arrangements, supporting website and social media maintenance, greeting visitors, and providing general administrative support to our staff. Previous experience as a front office manager or office administrator would be an advantage. A successful Office Manager should also have experience and proficiency with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets, scheduling tools) and be able to accurately handle various administrative duties.

Responsibilities:
• Greet and provide general support to visitors
• Answer the telephone and direct the call accordingly
• Manage office supplies and equipment
• Maintain contacts with suppliers and service providers
• Schedule meetings and appointments
• Provide administrative support such as making copies, assembling meeting packets, arrange meeting logistics, etc
• Address employees' queries regarding office management issues (e.g., stationery, hardware, and travel arrangements)
• Support the maintenance of the organization's website and social media

Requirements:
• Proven experience as an office manager or administrative assistant
• Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, and Excel, in particular
• Experience in website and social media management – WordPress, Facebook, Twitter
• Hands-on experience with office machines (e.g., telephones, computers, copiers)
• Familiarity with online collaboration tools, like Doodle or Google Docs
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
