Greenwood Village South is seeking qualified candidates for the part-time position of Fund Development Specialist.

Essential Functions:
1. Facilitate an annual appeal to enhance the lives of GVS residents
2. Establish and manage relationships with current and past donors
3. Create and execute fundraising strategies, primarily focused on individual giving, to grow organizational financial resources
4. Develop and submit solicitation proposals; designs, develops, and implements special fundraising events
5. Prepare reports and presents to senior management
6. Assist and distribute campaign materials and develops communication/promotional programs in support of fundraising efforts
7. Identify and facilitate the cultivation of potential major donors for capital campaigns.
8. Develop and implement a plan for events aimed at fundraising.
9. Develop and implement a stewardship program aimed at cultivating deeper ties with donors.
10. Be an active member and provide consultation to the Living Tree Legacy Committee.
11. Provide educational sessions to residents related to charitable donations.
12. Ability to conduct major fund raising activities, including capital campaigns and annual giving drives.
13. Ability to speak effectively before groups of donors, volunteers and co-workers
14. Ability to understand donor's philanthropic goals and develop a case for support that address those goals and leads to support for the organization
15. Provide creative solutions for clients to overcome fundraising and campaign challenges
16. Provide regularly scheduled planning/strategy/professional development meetings with clients
17. Make direct, face-to-face solicitations
18. Assist the Living Tree Legacy in accomplishing its goals

1. Bachelor's degree preferred.
2. 5 years of professional fundraising experience in a nonprofit organization preferred.
3. Professional certification (CFRE) preferred.
4. Tangible experience of having expanded and cultivated existing donor relationships over time.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; with the ability to influence and engage a wide range of donors and build long-term relationships.
6. Flexible and adaptable style to meet the expectations of prospective donors.
7. Ability to work independently without close oversight.
8. Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
