The Perry Township Education Foundation has been providing enrichment to the learning experiences of Perry Township students since 1994. Our mission is carried out in various ways including funding creative and innovative teacher classroom grants, developing named endowment opportunities, and partnering with the school corporation to raise private funds to support education.

The Executive Director is a part-time exempt position that reports directly to the Foundation Board of Directors. The primary responsibilities are providing operational leadership and direction; developing and facilitating the Foundation fundraising plan; and ensuring the effectiveness of the grant making function.

Executes the strategic plan of the Foundation in partnership with the board of directors and school district.
Manages volunteer, donor, and public relations through website and social media updates as well as  providing newsletters through Bloomerang.
Supervises the Development Associate.
Develops and executes a fundraising plan with consultation from the Board of Directors.
Ensures fundraising events meet or exceed fiscal goals as developed in conjunction with the board.
Cultivates and oversees the named endowment programs to ensure compliance with donor mission.
Provides ongoing communications with all schools regarding the classroom grant process.
Facilitates the work of all Foundation committees to ensure they adequately address stated goals and objectives.
Manages the Foundation's relationship with Perry Township as a whole.
Coordinates the recruitment and utilization of volunteers.
Other duties as assigned.

A Bachelor's degree in non-profit management, public affairs, marketing, or business is preferred.
Knowledge and commitment to the Perry Township community is preferred
Experience in non-profit leadership.
Experience with fund raising and community service is required.
Excellent organizational and communication skills that support a team environment.
Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
Proficient computer skills with the aptitude to learn new software applications.
Experience with social media, marketing, and volunteer management.
