Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky (PPINK) brings more than 80 years of history providing reproductive health care and information in the Hoosier state and the Commonwealth of Kentucky. PPINK is an affiliate of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), the nation's leading sexual and reproductive health care advocate and provider. Our skilled professionals provide confidential reproductive health care and comprehensive sexuality education.

FUNCTION:   Analyze, coordinate and facilitate clinical staff training and development needs.
• Demonstrate understanding of all Health Center operations.
• Consult with managers to assess training needs to create individualized training plans.
• Provide one on one training in venipuncture and blood drawing
• Assist in the development of training materials and instructional/teaching aids, such as training handbooks.
• Determine appropriate instructional and delivery methods such as individual training, group instruction, meetings, web-based learning activities, etc.
• Coordinate training schedules.
• Assist in training LPN, RN and Surgical Services staff
• Assess progress of trainee(s) during training periods.
• Develop systems to evaluate training effectiveness and modify as necessary.
• Track trainings and compile all related documentation and submit to HR as appropriate.
• Remain informed about family planning methods and Surgical Services, offered by PPINK, PPINK policies, protocols and procedures.
• Provide supplemental NextGen training with assistance from agency NextGen Systems Administrators.
• Ability to travel statewide and remain overnight as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.



• Must have at least 2 years' experience in clinical educator role.  Demonstrated skills of project management, strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to work both independently and as a team member.
• BSN as a minimum qualification.

• Master's degree in Nursing, or other healthcare related field
Licenses Required
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider card through American Heart Association or obtain within one month of hire.
