Under direction of the Director of the Ivy Tech Grants Office, provide support for all grants functions to the department and campuses within the Ivy Tech Community College statewide system. Perform functions in researching, identifying, developing and responding to grant opportunities. Submit proposals on-line and assist in post-award grants management, including but not limited to reporting and general oversight. 

Major Responsibilities:
•   Research and identify grant funding opportunities via numerous on-line resources; disseminate funding opportunities to appropriate persons.
•   Engage campus offices in discussion of available grant opportunities and alignment with projects; assess and reassess campus needs.
•   Represent Ivy Tech in providing necessary information to partner entities in sub-recipient and consortium proposals.
•   Engage in stewardship activities with funders as necessary.
•   Monitor grant activity and assist project directors with post-award reports as necessary.
•   Assist faculty/staff in development, writing and logistics of grant proposal preparation; submit proposals online via, FastLane or other on-line sites.
•   Assist faculty/staff in grant budget preparation (adhering to procedures and regulations determined by both the funder and Ivy Tech).
•   Review contracts and route for approval as appropriate.
•   Provide grant guidance to campus faculty and staff as requested.
•   Provide support in developing national and corporate foundation research and proposals.
•   Collaborate with campus and Grants Office personnel to provide grant training .
•   Special projects, assignments and committees as assigned.
•   Other duties logically associated with the position may be assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications:
•   A Bachelor's Degree is required.
•   Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).
•   Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
•   Must exhibit professional demeanor; initiative; good judgment; be able to work well under pressure and independently; detail oriented; positively anticipate and react to frequently changing priorities.
•   Must have a willingness and ability to occasionally travel on Foundation/College business.
•   Ability to take direction and follow through in a timely manner.
•   Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive data, and display a mature and positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:
•   Federal grants experience and grant writing experience preferred.
