(Part-time, 20 hours weekly) This position is in Hancock County at our Area East United way of Central Indiana office in downtown Greenfield.

Advance the mission of United Way of Central Indiana by providing part-time strategic project and office support to Area East Director and Volunteer Engagement Coordinator.

Position Duties & Responsibilities
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.  They are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified. 

• Partnership:  Actively participate in AREA EAST TEAM meetings, providing suggestions and feedback to further the effectiveness of the team efforts.

• Board and Community Support: Provides support to Area East Advisory Board, workgroups, partner agency roundtables and community impact initiatives.

• Team Support:  Responsible for timely, accurate, thorough and pro-active support of the members of the AREA EAST TEAM.  Efforts include, but are not limited to the following:
o Providing primary sales and project support
o Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, materials, track RSVP's, and logistics
o Query organizational database and extract data as requested
o Generate and run multiple accurate reports from database
o Produce quality company fundraising presentation materials
o Provide e-pledge support as requested by team members
o Compile and type statistical reports (charts, graphs and spreadsheets)
o Type & prepare correspondence, mail merges, labels & other documents 
o Provide customer service in a courteous and professional manner
o Proofread and edit documents as needed and requested
o Provide support for any events led by team members
o Pull lapsed donor campaign donor reports and send lapsed donor letters as requested

• Annual Goals: Achieve established goals. Work with the Director of Area East to ensure goals reflect and align and contribute to the broader goals of the organization.

• Flexibility:  As with any successful organization, UWCI is evolving with our changing external environment.  Flexibility is a key attribute for this position.  A willingness to take on additional duties to ensure the success of the team is essential. Travel to headquarters as requested is an essential part of the position.

Education and/or Experience
High School education required.  Advanced education preferred.  Two to four years related administrative support experience required. Microsoft Office Suite Skills also required.
