The Multicultural Community Relations Coordinator is an opportunity for a passionate professional to drive our multicultural programming at Indiana Donor Network. This individual will help to engage and educate our diverse communities in Indiana, increasing awareness of and access to organ donation and transplantation. 

Indiana Donor Network is the non-profit health service dedicated to advancing organ, tissue, and eye donation and transplantation throughout Indiana.  Indiana Donor Network, one of 58 designated organ recovery organizations in the U.S., is a vital link between people waiting for life-saving organ transplants and donors. Working closely with Indiana hospitals, donor families and the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), we are a team of skilled, experienced professionals responsible for overseeing and coordinating organ donation across Indiana. Our non-profit organization with 145 employees is also committed to educating Hoosiers about the importance of organ and tissue donation.

As a Multicultural Community Relations Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating education and awareness programs and partnerships for the purpose of supporting the integrity of the organ and tissue donation and transplant process in Indiana. This role serves to promote a public understanding of the on-going need for organ and tissue donation and to increase the number of Indiana donor designations.
Specifically, the Multicultural Community Relations Coordinator will be responsible for developing and overseeing outreach programs aimed at increasing community awareness and education relevant to donation and transplantation among African American communities across Indiana.
You will have the opportunity to coordinate with community-based health organizations and partner with fellow Organ Procurement Organizations and state-based Donate Life America affiliates in order to identify and promote opportunities to improve minority access to donation and transplantation.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, business, social work, anthropology, or other related field and 3-5 years of experience and proficiency in program development and management. Passion for multicultural education and healthcare preferred.
