Sycamore School seeks an Advancement and Alumni coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Advancement. This position requires contact with donors.  You must exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills and sensitivity to confidential matters.  The right person for this position must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Hours:  Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (unless otherwise specified), 12 month position

Reports to:  Director of Advancement

Responsibilities may include: 
Managing the school donor database, including: entering gifts and pledges promptly and accurately; maintaining various funds and campaign information; and reporting on all database activity.
Managing online giving and online directory through Blackbaud.
Preparing timely gift acknowledgements, pledge reminders and other constituent correspondences.
Maintaining a positive and effective customer service attitude and orientation towards all constituents and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
Working with the Marketing Coordinator.
Providing event support as needed: preparing registration and event materials, managing registrations, assisting with event setup and teardown, providing logistical support, representing the school at events, etc.
Coordinating alumni stewardship and solicitations, including updates for the Sycamore magazine, Class Agent program, email and social media correspondence with young alumni, arranging alumni events and keeping accurate and up to date addresses and emails.
Managing special projects as needed.
Serving as a member of the Development committee.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Advancement or Head of School.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Blackbaud experience preferred
Strong writing and communication skills
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently
Must be able to meet deadlines and think strategically
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to occasionally work beyond regular hours
