The Indiana Black Expo, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, seeks an energetic professional who is successful at  engaging with students (and families) to learn about and remove barriers to their success so that students are college and career ready, attend college or obtain work and does not have adverse contact with the justice system.  Connectors serve as "family coaches" partnering with parents or guardians providing them with tools and methods that help prepare their children for college or career. 
OZ Connectors understand access and utilize YOUR LIFE MATTERS partners' established continuum of resources to connect families with the right resources that enable families to set and achieve goals.

Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services or related field, a minimum of two (2) years' experience in community organizing, Opportunity Zone or 46218 residency a plus

• Knowledge of Indianapolis, multicultural environments, preparing college and career ready children
• Working knowledge of case management database, utilizing professional develop plans
• Excellent verbal communication skills and report writing
• MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook is required
