The Indiana State University Foundation is the designated receiver and repository of gifts to ISU. The purpose of the Foundation is to promote the welfare of the ISU community, serve as the fundraising arm of the University, and manage the University's endowment.

The Development Officer – President's Society develops and maintains a portfolio of President Society (gifts of $1,000 and up) annual and major gift prospects and donors. The position identifies President Society annual and major gift suspects and meets with them personally in order to solicit them as President Society and major gift prospects. It serves as a prospect manager for one or more geo-regions which will include managing select prospect and donor events, donor and prospect cultivation, coordination of University official's visits to the geo-regions. It develops and executes cultivation strategies for gift prospects that meet the needs and goals of University priorities through gift solicitations. This person works with Deans, Provost, Faculty, and others to translate academic priorities into fundraising opportunities. The position identifies and utilizes fundraising resources including volunteers, faculty, staff, publications, and electronic communication tools to identify and cultivate major gift prospects. The position provides exceptional stewardship to Indiana State University donors.
