The Service Provider Support Director is responsible for capacity building, support, and training of the Indiana Trafficked Victims Assistance Program service provider partners. This position works primarily with the individual service provider partners to ensure they are equipped to provide trauma-informed, victim-focused interventions that are evidence-driven in their work with individuals who have been trafficked or exploited.
Indiana Youth Services Association (IYSA) is membership is comprised of Youth Service Bureaus that deliver community based juvenile delinquency and family support programming. IYSA's current 32 members serve approximately 74 Hoosier counties. Youth Services Bureaus (YSB) serve vulnerable youth and families and offer programming that supports positive youth development. YSB programming is defined in the Indiana state statue and includes four core roles:
• Juvenile delinquency prevention
• Information and referral services
• Community education
• Advocacy for youth
The Service Provider Support Director would work with our human trafficking program. The Indiana Trafficking Victim Assistance Program (ITVAP) works to identify and provide comprehensive services to youth (under 21) victims of trafficking or sexual exploitation.
