Provide support to Alumni and Annual Giving areas by assisting to manage multiple departmental projects, while implementing the most effective communication plans and tools to support and enhance all efforts of the team for various audiences.  Serve as project coordinator to manage details, timelines and serve as liaison to Communications/Marketing department.  Coordinate email campaigns to create effective communication to alumni and donors by promoting events and activities to increase overall alumni and donor participation. Monitor and post updates and information as needed to all applicable social media outlets. Assist with development and implementation of significant annual giving initiatives. Assist with Advancement Dept. events as needed (Homecoming, donor dinners, etc.). Support philanthropy efforts to students via various communication channels. Coordinate and manage other communication needs for the Advancement team.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree. One to three years of related professional experience strongly desired. Applicants should be proficient in communication/public relations, possess strong writing and editing skills, social media savvy, detailed oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to be collaborative and work amidst a team environment, as well as, ability to work independently and make decisions as needed. Computer application and social media proficiency.  Light lifting abilities to move and carry boxes and materials for events and special functions.  Ability to work some evenings and weekends.
