Full-time position reporting to the President of the corporation, responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of a small, high-performing, non-profit community development agency.  Requires an individual with broad-based administrative experience and a solid accounting/bookkeeping foundation, who is process-driven, detail-oriented, and works well in team-oriented environment. 
Key Responsibilities
•  Full-charge bookkeeping, including A/R, A/P, general ledger, reconciliations, month & year-end closeouts, and preparation of financial statements;
•  Managing vendor contracts & services, and maintaining office equipment and supplies;
•  Maintaining personnel records and coordinating 3rd-party payroll processing and benefits management;
•  Maintaining general office files, corporate documents and Board of Directors materials & records;
•  Coordinating general liability, workers comp, D&O, real estate & personal property insurance with carriers;
•  Organizing internal and external meetings and events;
•  Maintaining grant records, preparing & submitting grant claims, and compliance reporting;
•  Record-keeping for the corporation's real estate assets, preparing exemption filings, processing property taxes, and coordinating property maintenance; 
•  Providing high-level administrative support to the President; and 
•  Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
•  Associates degree (Bachelor's preferred) in relevant area;
•  2-4 years of progressively responsible experience in office administrative roles, including at least 2 years of  experience with bookkeeping functions;
•  High-level proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software and full Microsoft Office suite;
•  Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven; and
•  Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and exercise sound judgment.
