Our Mission: Formed in the summer of 2010, the Alpha Gamma Delta Fraternity Housing Corporation (FHC) exists to provide safe, competitive and attractive housing and meeting facilities for the members of Alpha Gamma Delta. Today, the FHC owns or leases more than 70 Alpha Gamma Delta homes, dorms, lodges and suites across the United States. The FHC is committed to providing the highest quality property management support for each unique chapter served through its property management company, Alpha Gamma Delta Property Management, LLC.

Your Role in Our Mission:
The Director of Properties leads a large team of Regional Property Managers, House Directors, chefs, cooks, housekeepers and support staff to accomplish their mission of providing day-to-day supervision of FHC locations to make safe, competitive and attractive homes for Alpha Gamma Delta collegiate members.  The Director leads the property management staff; plans and executes repairs and maintenance projects; ensures the provision of appropriate food service and property management activities; and protects the organization with prudent leases, contracts and vendor relationships. 

What You Will Be Doing:
•         Be the leader: provide direction and leadership for the property management team regarding service delivery, day-to-day operations, educational opportunities and trainings, resources and process development, and outreach activities.
•         Carry strategic oversight for property management services and programs.
•         Make sound and timely, data-driven decisions to improve service delivery based on available research and identified programmatic metrics.
•         Field questions about and represent the FHC services, activities, policies and procedures.
•         Work cooperatively with internal and external partners (local and international) through regular communication and collaboration.
•         Report activities and outcomes to the Managing Director through agreed upon and effective channels.
•         Hire, onboard, train and develop new property management staff members.
•         Monitor budgets and financial performance for each location to achieve revenue and expense projections.
•         Work cross-functionally with multiple Alpha Gamma Delta teams to effectively deliver on our mission and organizational goals.
•         Perform other duties as assigned.

You Are:
•         A master at delegation and follow-up, but not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
•         An excellent communicator, great listener and a great coach with strong verbal and written skills in the English language.
•         Flexible, able to adapt to changing needs, shift priorities as required and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
•         Able to anticipate problems and solutions; adept at critical thinking and able to trouble-shoot and problem-solve collaboratively and independently. 
•         Able to demonstrate sound decision-making in high pressure conditions with minimal oversight.
•         Detail-oriented and organized. 
•         Open to constantly receiving feedback and adapting programs, staffing and resources to respond.
•         Willing to seek out and engage in new opportunities for personal and professional development.
•         Passionate about the fraternity/sorority experience and able to connect with multi-generational constituents.

Required qualifications:
5-10 years of experience in property management or a related field
Familiarity and experience leading teams and managing people
Willingness and ability to meet the Expectations laid out above
PC proficient with skills in Microsoft Office products and Outlook
Ability and willingness to travel out of state for up to a week at a time
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. for a distance of 20 feet
Must be able to speak and write in fluent English

Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Membership in Alpha Gamma Delta or another college based social fraternity or sorority
