We currently have an opening for a Global Administrative Coordinator at our headquarters located downtown Indianapolis, IN. This position provides administrative support for the director and staff of the Global Initiatives department, including support for the Global Regional Councils, Global Advisory Panel on the Future of Nursing & Midwifery, the Institute for Global Healthcare Leadership and other programs, events, projects, services, and communications of the department.

The regular work week schedule is day shift, Monday-Friday.

Principal Responsibilities:
•       Provide administrative support for the Director, Global Initiatives and for the Global Initiatives department.
•       Provide support for scheduling, status reports, minutes, expense reports, update and maintenance of budget documents/reports, communications, organizational support, and other administrative duties to support the Director, Global Initiatives, and other departmental staff.
•       Provide support for scheduling, minutes and follow up actions pertaining to nine Global Regional Councils.
•       Provide support for the Global Advisory Panel on the Future of Nursing & Midwifery implementation planning processes, activities, and communications.
•       Provide support for various meetings, including regular department meetings, United Nations meetings, GAPFON meetings, program development meetings, etc. 
•       Provide support for Institutes for Global Healthcare Leadership (IGHL) conferences, meetings and events, including coordination and scheduling of Advisory Board calls, support for facilitator and speaker scheduling and other duties as needed.
•       Coordinate and prepare logistical arrangements for Global Initiatives programs, staff and supplies.  Assist with event and coordinating travel logistics, travel documents including expense reports, as needed.
•       Conducts research and maintains reports related to building relationships with international organizations

Minimum Requirements:
•       3-5 years of work related experience, Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•       Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as attention to detail, strong time management and organizational skills required.
•       Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple projects.
