The Patron Services Coordinator is a full time, non-exempt position reporting to the Event Manager.  This position will keep regular weekday hours in addition to primarily working events. Event work will include evenings and weekends. 
Administrative Responsibilities
• Create and maintain front of house reports and forms in database for all events.
• Schedule front of house staffing for all events
• Maintain and update front of house attendance data for all events
• Recruit new front of house staffing, both at campus student job fairs and to the general public
• Coordinate student employee hiring with the office of Career Services
• Provide and update front of house assessments to the Event Manager
• Perform other duties as assigned
Performance/Event Responsibilities
• Open and unlock the building for events
• Front of House manage all events under the direction of the Event Manager/Administration In Charge
• Assign tasks to both paid and volunteer ushers before each event
• In collaboration with the Event Manager/AIC, lead a pre-event meeting with all front of house staff to explain the event, as well as staffs' roles and duties for the event
• Direct and supervise all front of house personnel, including but not limited to: assistant house managers, concessionaires, merchandisers, and ushers
• Be the first in line to assistance with event related issues, including but not limited to: seating issues, patron issues, and logistics issues
• Assist Event Manager/AIC with merchandise and bar settlements
• Clear and lock up the building at the end of each event. 
• Perform other event related duties as assigned
Project Management Responsibilities
• In coordination with the Director of Operations and the Event Manager, plan and schedule the Butler Arts Center's Front of House Workshop Series in addition to new front of house member training sessions each season.
• Develop, manage, and lead a student led front of house crew to staff the Clowes Hall front desk during open hours. Monitor the front desk when crew are not available/staffed
• Manage and lead all front of house appreciation events, and in coordination with the Event Manager, create and manage additional front of house staff appreciation programming
• Be the primary contact for ADA requests related to events; develop and manage an events related ADA requests system to properly and timely fulfill all patron requests for ADA related needs. 
• Other project management as assigned
Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated supervision skills. Experience with volunteer training and recruitment desirable. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
