Role: Events Planner 
MIBOR REALTOR® association is growing and looking to hire a talented, high energy, professional and experienced Events Planner.

Duties/Responsibility
• Plan approximately 20 events per year in coordination with MIBOR staff:
     o Supports the coordination and execution of events, meetings, and activities to ensure these activities are well-planned, on budget and operate smoothly (secure venue, book catering, make travel arrangements, order event collateral, manage budget, etc.)
     o Provide on-site management of event
     o Monitor guest registration 
     o Monitor budget for events
• Lead staff person for Housing Summit
• Provides support for REALTOR® Foundation events including three annual events - The Ball, REALTOR® Foundation Golf Outing, and Feed the Fight. 
• Serves as the liaison support to other staff members
• Ensures efficient and effective events 
• Performs other duties as assigned 

Reports to Vice President, Marketing and Communications 

Qualifications 
• Highly organized
• Service oriented
• Focused on follow-through 
• Experienced negotiator
• Preferred educational background: event management, communications, marketing 
• Preferred working background in event planning
• Able to work in a team environment 
• Excellent communication skills: including, written, oral and listening
• Proficient in MS Office and Email Contact Management Systems 
• ASAE Certification preferred
