The Special Programs Analyst works with rental assistance programs targeted towards serving vulnerable populations, including those with disabilities and persons experiencing homelessness.  The Analyst will serve as the primary point of contact for the Indiana Housing First, HUD-VASH, and Mainstream/Non-Elderly Disabled voucher programs.

Key Duties of the Special Programs Analyst Include:

• Processing applications to determine eligibility of clients for vouchers. 
• Tracking utilization of funds and re-allocating as necessary to ensure the greatest number of clients are being served.
• Analyze utilization reports and make recommendations to improve program efficiency.
• Provide technical assistance to partners and gather feedback to make recommendations on future policies and procedures.
• Reporting and monitoring activities.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as finance, business, public administration, planning, real estate development or social work. 

Preferred Experience
3-5 years relevant job experience in the affordable housing, real estate development, real estate finance, multifamily property management, community development or other experience related to issues of homelessness.  Experience with Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers or other rental assistance programs and related certifications preferred.

Travel:  In state travel may be required.  A valid Indiana Driver's License must be maintained during employment.
