Organization Overview
National Christian Foundation (NCF) is the largest Christian grant-making foundation in the world and the 8th-largest U.S. charity. NCF provides wise giving solutions for Christian families and their advisors. The NCF Giving Fund allows individuals and families to make tax-deductible gifts and then go online anytime to recommend grants to their favorite causes. NCF is also an industry leader in accepting non-cash, appreciated assets such as stocks, real estate, and business interests, which help givers save taxes, send more to ministry than they ever imagined possible, and align their charitable goals with their family, business, estate, and legacy plans. Since 1982, nationally, we have received over $9 billion in contributions and made over $7 billion in grants to thousands of churches, ministries, and non-profits.

NCF has affiliates in several major cities across the country. These local foundations work with givers, advisors, and ministries to mobilize resources and inspire Biblical generosity.   In Indiana, we have active efforts in the Metro Indianapolis, Bloomington and Northern Indiana to promote generosity.  Since 2007, NCF Indiana, has grown to serve over 700 families and has facilitated over $195 million in grants to 3800 charities across the region and the world.

Position Duties
NCF - Indiana seeks to hire a Vice President, Outreach / Relationship manager for our Indianapolis office.

We expect 2018 to be another exciting year of growth as we fulfill our mission to serve and encourage our givers to grow as faithful stewards who give wisely. We are seeking a talented and experienced individual with a strong background in outside sales, relationship management, business development, and marketing / channel development who will join us in accomplishing this great task.  The ideal candidate will have a passion and calling for the work of NCF and advancing the Kingdom.

The successful candidate will develop the NCF ministry in Indiana by building relationships with givers, their professional advisors, and the ministries they support.  S/he will develop sufficient depth in the services and capabilities that NCF offers to represent NCF effectively and materially coach givers and professionals in the most effect ways to steward the wealth that God has entrusted to them. 

This person will also identify and build successful referral channels in the community to enhance the impact of the ministry. This will include building a network of generous people who can help to multiply the efforts of the team. This will include working closely with Generous Giving and others in the generosity movement to encourage the development and expansion of a community of generous givers who are growing in the art of Biblical generosity.

Primary Responsibilities:  
•  Giver Engagement (40%): Proactively reach out to new and existing givers to build relationship, increase awareness, connect them into the larger community, and explore new ways to serve.
•  Prospect Development (30%): Proactively cultivate relationships with prospective Givers.
•  Channel Development (30%): Develop strategic relationships with targeted advisors and ministries.

Education and Experience Requirements:
•  Bachelor's degree required
•  Minimum three years of previous sales, relationship management, business development, and/or marketing / channel development required
•  Previous experience serving high net worth individuals, families, and advisors preferred
•  Knowledge of a CRM tool like preferred
