The Central IN Police Foundation fosters support for law enforcement by supporting traumatically injured officers and their families, by providing resources for officers in the line of duty, and building positive officer-community partnerships.

Since its founding in 2013, CIPF has distributed more than $350,000 to officers and their families, thousands of first aid kits, plus additional protective gear. The CIPF is searching for an executive director who will provide overall strategic leadership for all aspects of the foundation focused on fund raising, including programs, projects, events, communications and corporate fundraising. The executive director will build on the fundraising success of CIPF and grow the scope of programs that support working officers by leveraging community resources and building collaborative relationships.

As lead spokesperson and the first point of contact for the CIPF, this individual will create a presence throughout the community partnering with corporate supporters, police agencies, and community groups. The ideal candidate will embrace the law enforcement community, bring "hands on" fund raising experience, and be a confident partner with the board. They will be a persuasive and passionate communicator who is able to engage and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and cultures to ensure that the organizations mission is properly presented. This person will also have past success working with a board of directors with the ability to cultivate existing and new board member relationships.

Full time, but flexible work schedule based at Fraternal Order of Police offices in Fountain Square area. Work from home as needed. Executive Director is currently the only employee, with expectations of adding administrative support in the next year or so.
