Position Summary
The Chief Operating Officer directs, manages and administers marketing, communications and operational aspects of the organization. The COO implements the strategic plan and ensures that OneZone achieves its revenue goals related to the organization's activities. The individual oversees the organization's member services, sales and events, including the development and evaluation of member benefits, membership acquisition and retention programs and potential future activities. The COO is an exempt employee and reports directly to the President.

Primary Job Responsibilities
•         Develops and implements strategic objectives for maximizing member satisfaction, continuing membership growth, event planning and marketing/communications.
•         Oversees and manages all chamber communications, including e-newsletters and press releases, and reinforces organizational brand identity.
•         Facilitates collaboration and coordination across departments.
•         Supervises and coordinates Events, Member Services and Membership Development/Sales staff.
•         Manages, monitors and creates regular reports on membership statistics, including financials, website/social media/communication data and member and event surveys.
•         Sets revenue goals related to organization membership and events.
•         Manages day-to-day office operations and relationships with outside service providers, including database, website, phone, cable and technical providers.
•         Attends and prepares minutes at Board meetings.
•         Manages accounts payable.
•         Leads department meetings.
•         Oversees staff liaison to YP and Membership committees and New Member Orientation.
•         Maintains staff and organizational calendars.
•         Performs other duties as assigned.

•         Ability to direct, supervise and manage direct reports.
•         Excellent communication and interpersonal communication skills.
•         Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
•         Enthusiasm and self-motivation to maximize potential of the position and strategic plan.
•         Proficient in Microsoft Office with ability to learn proprietary membership database, e-newsletter software, social media.
•         Bachelor's degree and management experience preferred.
