The Director of Finance & Membership will oversee the membership database and assist the Chief Financial & HR Officer with accounting duties as assigned.

Accounting Duties
• Processes all invoices, credits, and sends out monthly statements from the accounting department.
• Assists with annual external audit.
• Is responsible for completing monthly audit file and ensuring accuracy of it.
• Ensures accuracy of Tiered Insurance Program.
• Reconciles prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accrued liabilities and intercompany balances at each month-end.
• Reconciles membership revenues.
• Manages collections and accounts receivable.
• Is responsible for matching up monthly credit card expenses and inputting into accounting systems.
• Monthly bank reconciliations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Membership Duties
Coordinate all aspects of member services including, but not limited to:

• Inputting all new initiates into our database and communicating with other staff members as needed
• Handle all inquiries and processing relating to expulsions
• Update officer changes as reported
• Process all accounts receivables for all Fraternity accounts
• Updating the database with notices of address changes deaths, and other changes
• Run alumni and roster list for staff and brothers
• Coordinate the distribution and collection of the Semi-Annual Brotherhood Review vote materials
• Compile graduating senior information and identify those interested in ongoing involvement in the Fraternity
• Create a comprehensive method of tracking members studying abroad and ensuring their ongoing connection to the Fraternity
• Provide chapter desktop access to non-member advisors
• Manage the database and ongoing staff training to ensure maximize its capabilities
• Serve as the staff liaison to Compass as it relates to maintenance and ongoing requests by the Fraternity
• Work closely with Compass staff to ensure the Fraternity is maximizing the potential of its services
• Handle all individual member inquiries and connects them with the appropriate staff member/area for their request
• Work with chapter leaders on matters pertaining to member retention and ensuring that chapters understand the services and programs offered by the Fraternity
• Provide historical membership trends and data to various staff as needed
• Coordinate with staff in the preparing of materials for new initiates


Bachelor's degree in accounting required. 

Minimum of five years' experience in database management and accounting. 

Computer Skills:
Experience with database management, knowledge of QuickBooks helpful.

Other Requirements:
Experience working with Greek non-profit corporation beneficial. Detail-oriented, with strong project management skills, and ability to meet deadlines while working on multiple projects at once.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Packaging and processing of material for shipment.  Some boxes may weigh in excess of 40 lbs.
