High level position responsible for providing leadership and coordination of the development, analysis and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of stability, profitability, performance against budget and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the Foundation. The individual is also responsible for overseeing the organization's human resource management.

High level position responsible for providing leadership and coordination of the development, analysis and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of stability, profitability, performance against budget and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the Foundation. The individual develops and implements the organization's financial plans and policies, its accounting practices, the maintenance of its financial records, the preparation of financial reports and budget forecasts. The individual is also responsible for overseeing the organization's human resource management.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversees cash flow planning and forecasting.
• Directs cash, investment and asset management.
• Directs and coordinates preparation and monitoring of budgets.
• Prepares and revises monthly financial statements and ensure their accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensures timeliness, accuracy and usefulness of financial and management reporting for all funders, management and Board of Trustees; oversees the preparation and communication of financial status of organization to various publics.
• Participates in organizational policy development as a member of the executive team.
• Ensures maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.
• Prepares special financial reports, studies projects and analyses.
• Directs financial audits and proper filing of tax returns.
• Oversees the organization's lending program.
• Resolves accounting and financial problems and/or issues.
• Oversees the accounting team to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and functions.
• Stays abreast of current accounting processes and methods.
• Recommends benchmarks for measuring the operating performance of the organization.
• Ensures compliance with any and all financial reporting requirements for private, public, local, state and federal regulatory agencies.
• Manages the organization's human resources functions including payroll and benefits administration including evaluation and provider negotiations.
• Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.
• Serves as one of the trustees and oversees administration and financial reporting of the organization's retirement plan.
• Oversees organizational business insurance plans.
• Oversees the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed assets.
• Attends Board and Committee meetings, as appropriate, including being the lead staff on the Audit/Finance Committee.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience
CPA a plus
