This position has the sole responsibility of developing and promoting the Chamber's opioid project initiative, using internal and external resources to assist employers in addressing the opioid crisis.

Organization Overview
The Indiana Chamber combines a 90-year-plus history of representing businesses and their employees with a strong emphasis on securing the best possible economic climate for the future.

Position Duties
Overall & day-to-day responsibility for the success of opioid project.  Develop and execute marketing/outreach activities to build awareness, development resources among the businesses community and system players. Serve as the "face" of the opioid project on a statewide basis. Be knowledgeable on business and medical issues pertaining to addiction, treatment and business.

• Coordinate internal resources and third party vendors for the execution of the different elements of the project
• Ensure all project elements are delivered on time, within scope and budget
• Assist in the definition of the project scope and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders
• Develop and maintain a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress within BaseCamp
• Develop, identify and deploy best practice and evidence based tools and resources to assist employers

Position Qualifications
• College degree preferred along with experience in project management
• Knowledge of the impact of addictions on the workforce is helpful
• Requires excellent speaking and presentation skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in medical field beneficial 
• Solid organizational, along with attention to detail and multitasking and interpersonal skills
• Motivated, self-starter able to work independently to complete tasks.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft office - Outlook, Word, Excel – and project management software
• Experience developing and tracking budgets
