Organization Overview:
Founded in 1870 at Indiana Asbury (now DePauw University) in Greencastle, Ind., Kappa Alpha Theta is the first Greek-letter Fraternity known among women. In creating Kappa Alpha Theta, our founders were leading the way for women's groups and for women in higher education. Our members are women of all ages: women who attended college in nearly every US state and Canadian province, women who live all over the world, and women with varied professions, faiths, and ethnic backgrounds. Kappa Alpha Theta currently has over 200,000 living members. We have chapters on over 140 college campuses across the U.S. and Canada, and over 215 active alumnae groups around the world. The organization comprises the Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity, Foundation, and Housing Corporation.

Position Overview: 
The Director of Collegiate Services has strategic oversight for all collegiate programs and is responsible for the overall health and wellness of college chapters. The Director of Collegiate Services manages the work of relevant Fraternity committees (volunteers) and the collegiate services personnel (staff). Areas managed by these staff members include compliance, chapter development, chapter recognition, educational leadership consultant program and recruitment. Essential functions include oversight of the following areas:

• Collegiate programs,
• College chapter discipline,
• Coordinated long-term chapter support,
• Extension program for the Fraternity,
• Outreach to other Greek organizations,
• Outreach to members' parents,
• Relationships with campus partners,
• Relevant college portions of Plan of Aspirations,
• Workforce visits to college chapters.

Travel includes overnight trips for college chapter support visits, extension presentations, chapter establishments, conferences, regional meetings, and special tasks as assigned.

Preferred Education and Experience: 
• Bachelor's degree required,
• Previous experience with oversight of college chapter operations preferred.
• Membership in Kappa Alpha Theta preferred,
• Excellent communication skills,
• High-level of flexibility to work in a fast-pace environment with many different constituencies.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications: 
• Willingness to relocate to Indianapolis area,
• Willingness to travel upon request,
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
