The Data Management Specialist position will be directly responsible for overseeing a Salesforce client management database for Little Red Door Cancer Agency.  Position will also modify database structure as necessary, enroll users, monitor database performance, and ensure data integrity. Position will generate reports and train other users on reporting and best practices. This position serves as an active member of LRD's Development and Program teams and will report to the Vice President of Development and Communications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned to meet business needs):
• Daily donation processing and generation of Acknowledgment letters.
• Consistent and timely reporting for Development and Programs staff.
• Work with the Development and Programs staff to develop strategies to operate database.
• Maintain, collect, and analyze Little Red Door's client database. 
• Work to continually improve database reporting. 
• Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the data systems and find innovative ways to help the development and program teams carry out functions. 
• Utilize record keeping system(s) for tracking donor participation with input from board committees and staff.
• Research potential donors (individuals, corporations, foundations).
• Keep up with current trends, practices, and procedures used in nonprofit sector.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
• Complete tasks in an effective and efficient manner. 
• Excellent organizational, written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Ability to develop and maintain database
• Ability to work well and collaboratively with a team.
• Ability to passionately embrace the mission of Little Red Door Cancer Agency.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
Education / Experience
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in experience.
• Familiarity with or similar CRM software preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and mail merges.
