If this sounds like you, the National Permanent Endowment Fund (NPEF) which is the Housing arm of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity, Inc, has an incredible opportunity to play an important supporting role in the day-to-day operations of an organization with a long history and entrepreneurial spirit. 

The mission of the NPEF is to further Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity's mission by identifying, cultivating, and supporting housing that supplements a comprehensive fraternity experience.
The NPEF seeks to provide chapters and colonies with the necessary resources to sustain and acquire, where appropriate, chapter housing solutions.

This 30-hour per week position reports directly to the Managing Director of the NPEF.

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the Managing Director of the NPEF, the Administrative and Finance Assistant assists with all aspects of the housing corporation and supports the staff and the board in the execution of the strategic plan largely through solid project management and organizational skills.  The position is 30 hours per week and has primary responsibility for:

• Assists the NPEF Managing Director in developing a strategic direction for the housing program
• Manages files, historic documents and other items of the organization as necessary
• Take minutes at all meetings and conference calls of the NPEF and manages action items
• Partners with the NPEF Managing Director with housing resources for chapters and directs undergraduates and alumni to the appropriate entities when entering into housing agreements
• Works alongside the NPEF Managing Director with communications with board members and officers
• Assists with bookkeeping and financial areas of the NPEF.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Experience: 

• Prior bookkeeping knowledge an asset
• QuickBooks experience an asset
• 3-5 years prior experience in administration and finance an asset
• Non-profit or housing experience an asset
• Organization and attention to detail required
