Overdose Lifeline is seeking a part-time coordinator, in their Indianapolis office. The coordinator will be supporting the organization's operational, day-to-day activities, contribute to the education and training programs, and lead special assignments.
Candidate must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, perform well in a dynamic environment and be a proactive learner.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with and have a passion for working in non-profit. A self-motivated and strong work ethic, can-do attitude, demonstration of good judgment and problem-solving skills are essential.

About Overdose Lifeline, Inc.
Overdose Lifeline, Inc. (http://www.overdoselifeline.org) is a Indiana nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals, families, and communities affected by the disease of addiction / substance use disorder through advocacy, education, harm reduction, prevention, resources, and support.

The organization has been on the front lines of the opioid public health crisis since 2014 designing and deploying programs and initiatives and serving as a statewide non-governmental subject matter expert addressing the opioid public health crisis.

In three short years, Overdose Lifeline has:
• Developed the only youth awareness prevention program to address the dangers of opioids, now used in more than a dozen states and nearly 200 delivery partners.
• Worked with lawmakers allowing for over-the-counter Naloxone access. Trained and distributed over 15,000 Naloxone kits to first responders and the public across 70+ Indiana counties.
• The first organization in the U.S. to be trained to deliver an evidence-based personality-targeted approach to adolescent substance use prevention piloting in IN.
• Developed effective, evidence-informed training courses. Results in the same level of knowledge among stakeholders and improves cross-channel collaboration and results.

Responsibilities will include:
• Responsible for day-to-day administrative functions.
• Coordinate the scheduling, process, and implementation of the training and education programs. Includes, but not limited to;
 - Support youth education program team including, school and partner communications, scheduling, booking confirmation and reminders, request for feedback, worksheet data entry and reporting.
 - Support training and courseware team including, admin support and customer service, coordinating the onboarding and training process for new delivery partners and learners, feedback surveys and reporting.
 - Serve as a liaison to training and education team while responding to phone and email inquiries from established and potential partners, schools, and learners.
• Proactively seeks ways to improve and enhance workflow procedures for greater efficiencies.
• Maintain Overdose Lifeline public event calendar to reflect fundraising and community events, speaking engagements, training and education schedule, support group, conferences, etc.
• List management - maintain and grown organization's partner, fundraiser and other lists.
• In collaboration with other staff, organize and coordinate volunteer schedules, event planning and activities.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience
• 2+ years of administrative / coordinator experience in an organization or non-profit.
• Professional and customer service oriented.
• Ability to manage several projects at once and work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office XP (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to interact effectively with others and functions well as a member of a team.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to anticipate shifting priorities.
• Ability to take initiative, work independently and work effectively under pressure.
• Impeccable attention to detail.
• Limitless intellectual curiosity and general desire to learn.
