The Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art is currently accepting resumes and applications for the position of Public Events Coordinator. The public events coordinator is an active full-time employee responsible for the development and implementation of Indian Market & Festival in coordination with the public programs, facilities, advancement (marketing and development) and curatorial departments. In addition to Indian Market & Festival, the coordinator assists with the Artist in Residence program and is responsible for the development and implementation of cultural days, smaller seasonal markets and various public programs and projects.

Museum programs require work schedule flexibility, including evening hours and weekends.

The public events coordinator is an integral member of the public programs division and reports to the director of public program. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in education, cultural studies, anthropology, museum studies, event planning or related discipline with two years' experience in event or program management. Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office including Access database will be a plus.
