This position is responsible for working with the President/CEO and Board of Directors for planning, coordinating and executing all aspects of fund development and corporate partnership development for the Indiana Latino Institute. The core responsibilities will include identifying, organizing and managing all fundraising activities of ILI with a focus on creating a diverse funding stream and developing new opportunities to obtain ongoing and increased support from corporations, public and private organizations, faith communities, and individuals. This position will provide leadership on and be responsible for the execution of all fund development initiatives, including event planning, major donor giving, planned giving, grant development and donor cultivation.

ILI's mission is to improve health and advance education for the Indiana Latino community through statewide advocacy, research, and culturally responsive programs.

The ideal candidate for the Corporate Partnerships & Fund Development Director will possess the following qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis or concentration in non-profit management, fundraising, marketing, business, public relations or related field
• A minimum of five years of fund development management experience, including event planning, individual giving, corporate partnership development, grant management and donor cultivation
• Master's degree is preferred
• Knowledge of current philanthropy and fundraising principles
• Experience with non-profit budget building management preferred
• Demonstrated success in fund development (a clear track record of fund development success should be provided at the time of interview)
• Advanced PC skills and expert proficiency in Microsoft Office; donor database experience desirable

This position will be responsible for identifying, organizing and managing all fundraising activities of ILI. Specific responsibilities for this positon include:

• Planning Skills:
   o Assess, implement and monitor a comprehensive resource development plan with focused strategies for creating a diverse incoming organizational funding stream (events, individuals donors, faith groups, community organizations, corporations, grant development, etc.)
   o Broaden ILI's fundraising by developing approaches and increasing focus on areas where growth is needed, such as major donor giving giving and establishing endowment programs
   o Provide monthly reports to the President/CEO and the Board to measure progress towards achieving all goals set forth within the plan
   o Be prepared to create contingency plans to meet all fund development goals if needed

• Grant Development and Administration:
   o Provide comprehensive grant research to identify new relevant grant opportunities
   o Assist with grant writing, as needed
   o Manage all corporate, foundation and government grants (deadlines, reporting needs, reviews, etc.)
   o Provide timely reporting and ensure compliance as required by grant award documentation

• Corporate Development and Donor Cultivation:
   o Create and implement strategies for donor development and donor cultivation on all levels to provide a diverse and sustainable funding base
   o Identify, pursue and secure new sources of individual, corporate and foundation funding
   o Create, build and maintain relationships with major donors of all types, including but not limited to Corporate Partnerships
   o Develop strategies for solicitation as well as solicit or coordinate solicitation efforts by board or volunteers, as appropriate
   o Create and/or update collateral materials to support giving
   o Ensure that donor database information is current and accurate
   o Keep up to date on current fundraising programs, procedures and best practices used in the nonprofit sector

• Events:
   o Oversee all ILI fund development events
   o Promote events to the business community as a way to support ILI and to recruit sponsorships
   o Work with appropriate staff and volunteers to ensure that all aspects of a successful event are coordinated towards a common goal

• Public Relations and Marketing:
   o Build and sustain working relationships and communication with business leaders, grant funders and other institutions
   o Support staff in areas such as social media and with additional marketing tools as needed

• Outcome Metrics/Performance:
   o Accomplish all ILI's Fund Development goals to support budgetary needs
   o Facilitate the accomplishment of all relevant ILI Organizational goals
   o Develop and monitor additional, appropriate and measurable outcome metrics as needed
