Temporary, Hourly, Part-Time Position available from May until mid-November

The Development Support Specialist provides administrative and clerical support to the Office of Development at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. The school is looking to fill this position on a temporary, hourly, part-time (up to 29 hours) basis from May 2018 to mid-November 2018.

This position is an integral part of the Development Team and provides support for all aspects of fundraising within the school, including major gifts and planned gifts, annual giving, and donor relations and stewardship. The position will provide administrative support, including items such as mail merges, travel arrangements, calendar management, expense reports, and budget tracking, and other administrative duties. The position plans and implements the school's Board of Visitors meetings and other special events and activities intended to promote interaction with and support from alumni and friends.

REQUIRED:
High School Diploma, plus 3 years of relevant experience in administrative support or equivalent related experience. Some higher education is preferred. Experience handling event and/or larger group meetings involving external participants is preferred. Experience working in a non-profit or fundraising environment is beneficial.
