The Community Impact Operational Support Coordinator provides primary administrative support and project coordination in the Community Impact department. This position will ensure the timeliness and critical scheduling processes of each project from initiation to completion that support UWCI's efforts around Education, Financial Stability, Health and Basic Needs. Additionally, this position will provide project coordination for activities related to collaborative initiatives involving external partners.

Position Duties & Responsibilities
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.  They are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified. 

• Provide primary administrative support to the Community Impact team members as assigned.
• Manage, monitor and maintain records and reports for Community Impact programs.
• Coordinate information gathering and updating of internal and external reports and databases.
• Proofread department letters, materials, and other documents.
• Bridge communication between various project components, including Community Impact team, volunteers, partners, internal staff, and consultants.
• Work with other Community Impact staff to prepare materials for volunteer committees.
• Prepare electronic presentations, charts, and spreadsheets accurately and efficiently.
• Manage all aspects of preparation for volunteer meetings including gathering and assembling materials, tracking attendance and quorum, taking minutes, ordering catering, meeting set up and logistics.
• Assist with department events, including meeting planning, implementation, and on- and off-site management. May include volunteer and staff coordination.
• Track and reconcile Community Impact department credit card.
• Assist in travel arrangements as needed.
• Assist Community Impact team with special projects.
• Assist with Front Desk receptionist duties on an as needed basis.
• Performs special assignments and other work, on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily and be present in the office while performing those functions. The requirements listed are representative of the basic knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required: 

Must possess a high level of computer proficiency and knowledge of various computer and database software, with particular skill in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Effective verbal and written communication, editing, math aptitude, organizational, professionalism, customer service, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills are essential. High level of proofreading ability is essential. Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities, think and respond timely, be tenacious in handling tasks and be skillful in working with various personalities. Must be flexible and available to work overtime on occasion.

Education and/or Experience
Undergraduate degree preferred, but not required. At least 2 plus years' experience in administrative support, coordinating projects for a team, meeting planning; including scheduling, coordination and execution. Proficient in all Microsoft products including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills also required. Must be collaborative and adaptable to change.
