Part-time:  25 hours/week $10/hr
Hours: Monday-Friday 1:30pm-6:30pm
Are you a good communicator with a strong administrative background? If so, this position might be a perfect fit! The Membership Coordinator interacts with our parents, members, and volunteers to ensure they receive top notch service.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:    Oversee membership registration, recruitment and retention thru; tours, orientations, registrations, information and promotion.  Monitor and maintain membership profiles, both new and renewals, through the Club's member management software.
KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities): 
• Greets members and visitors, answers phone and takes messages or refers calls
• Answers questions and disseminates information regarding programming
• Takes payments for program registrations.  Also responsible for closing drawers and properly handling money
• Maintains appearance of front counter and monitors information and promotional flyers, office supplies, and cleanliness of area
• Maintains safety ensuring all adult visitors and volunteers are signed in and cleared
• Member management system entering and maintaining information; reports, registrations, updates, etc.
• Entry of attendance and program numbers, as well as making membership cards
• Volunteering;  Volunteer logs, Volunteer tours, Volunteer communication, Volunteer check-in
• New member orientations and tours of visitors/ interested families
• Conduct orientations for Check-In and Front Counter Staff.  Provide support and training for new employees within these areas
• May participate in special programs and/or events
• May consult with parents regarding member information (i.e. Accident forms, ill children, program registrations, etc.).  Discussing discipline information will not be a responsibility of this job
• Facilitation and teaching of group club for members 9 to 18 years old who will assist with tours and orientations of new families and members
• Attend all staff meetings, prepared with items needed for discussion
• Assist in handling special assignments or other duties as deemed necessary or important by supervisor
• Computer skills-Microsoft Office and data entry capabilities
• Office skills-copy machine, phones, credit card machine, etc.
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Previous customer service experience desired
• Must pass a background check
• Must have reliable transportation
