The Brown County Community Foundation is seeking a new CEO who will build on our past success and grow the organization to new levels. Our current executive is retiring and the Board of Trustees wants to build upon the foundation established in our first 25 years. 
 
The Brown County Community Foundation (BCCF) is located in downtown Nashville, Indiana.  We are a collaborative leader for positive impact in the Brown County community by building on the spirit of philanthropy.  In 2017 we  distributed over $500,000 in charitable grants supporting our local nonprofit partners and scholarships.  The BCCF is run by an all volunteer Board of Trustees and supported by a number of all volunteer committees.  The CEO is responsible for fundraising, making sure the organization is delivering positive impact in the community, developing and operating within an annual budget, managing a small staff and the BCCF office building which includes the Howard F. Hughes Community Room.
 
The ideal candidate will have the following:
• Be a dynamic and engaging communicator.
• A minimum of five years of  experience managing complex environments.
• Proven leadership abilities and skills in managing people, finances, and administrative responsibilities.
• Experience working with community based organizations with preference given to those with applied experience in community foundations.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, fund development and grant writing.
• Experience in preparation and management of an annual budget and supervising a small administrative staff.
• A solid understanding of best philanthropic practices as defined by the National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations.
• Successful experience working with an all volunteer Board of Directors/Trustees.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent degree.
