Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is advancing world health and celebrating nursing excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service. Our more than 135,000 active nurse members across the globe are recognized leaders and scholars who demonstrate global nursing excellence. Sigma currently has an opening onsite at our Indianapolis, IN headquarters for a Program Specialist. This position assists in the coordination and management of the Center for Excellence in Nursing Education (CENE) programs.

Principal Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate programmatic and curricular planning, materials, and activities for the CENE programs
• Collaborate with multiple departments to coordinate activities for CENE programs
• Provide support to CENE program staff, leadership, and faculty
• Monitor, track, and maintaining CENE program budget information
• Serve as liaison to planning groups, task forces, and Sigma departments
 
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required or combination of education and relevant experience
• 3-5 years of program/project coordination/management work related experience required in a service oriented multi-departmental environment
• Strong computer skills and expertise in MS Office Suite programs (specifically including Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and Adobe required
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, strong time management and organizational skills required
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision
