The Donor Relations Specialist provides oversight and security of the Chapter's data entry processes. He/she works closely with Chapter leadership and staff to ensure accurate, timely and consistent data entry, reporting and donor acknowledgement.
• Acceptance and processing of all revenue
• Manage gift entry into Chapter databases
• Preparation of reports pertaining to gift processing
• Work closely with finance staff to ensure accurate recording of financial information
• Balance reports to cash and reconcile to databases
• Manage the donor acknowledgement program, including memorials and tributes program
• Responsible for generating and mailing gift acknowledgements daily
• Responsible for generating tribute letters for memorial families bi-weekly
• Respond to donor inquiries timely and professionally
• Provide timely financial reporting for special events
• Manage matching gift program, including gift confirmation, tracking and allocation
• Provide database assistance (queries) and support to other staff members
• Provide data to Chapter Executive to inform donor stewardship plans
• Maintenance and document retention of supporting documentation for pledges and restricted gifts
• Maintain integrity of data in internal databases
• Maintain a working knowledge of Personify database used by Programs Department
• Other duties as assigned
• High school diploma required.  Additional education preferred
• Two years relevant data entry experience working in CRM or development databases.  Results Plus, Team Approach, Blackbaud Luminate (Convio) and/or Personify experience a plus
• Cash handling experience required
• Proficient user of personal computer, Microsoft software applications, Google suite required; familiarity with donor software systems preferred
• Typing speed and accuracy a must
• Ability to work independently and self-motivated
• Ability to work effectively with donors, volunteers and staff
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple priorities, with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to analyze information and make timely, appropriate decisions
• High level of integrity, diplomacy, initiative and discretion
• Ability to operate designated office equipment
• Work may be stressful during periods of high volume or tight deadlines
• Evenings and weekends required during high volume times
