CKF has an open position for Regional Director Southern Indiana who supports Covering Kids & Families of Indiana's (CKF-IN) local coalitions in the southern part of Indiana to maximize their outreach, enrollment and retention into Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) and Marketplace.  This position will be based out of our Indianapolis office.

Organization overview:
Covering Kids and Families promotes and facilitates healthcare coverage through:
• Building coalitions that enroll, educate, and support Hoosiers
• Advocating for strong and inclusive public policies.

Position Duties:
Works with the Deputy Director of Operations to develop and manage CKF-IN programs to ensure the attainment of organizational goals.
Orients new local coalition leaders and staff in collaboration with the Director of Training & Information to provide initial training and ongoing support.
Collaborates with CKF-IN staff and local coalitions to develop, implement and evaluate local coalition outreach, enrollment and retention work plans within the established guidelines.
Monitors local coalition progress towards work plan goals regularly.
Makes recommendations to local coalitions for strategic improvements to meet enrollment and retention goals as needed or at least quarterly.
Works with the Deputy Director of Operations and other CKF-IN staff to monitor and analyze Federal and State program eligibility criteria and eligibility determination processes to help local coalitions and other partners improve their outreach, enrollment and retention activities.
Supports and collaborates with the Director of Training & Information to help educate and train local coalitions and other CKF partners about Indiana health coverage programs and eligibility determination processes.
Supports the Director of Training and Information to provide technical assistance to CKF-IN staff, partner organizations, consumers and others related to enrollment in Marketplace and insurance affordability programs.
Functions as a consultant to local coalition staff as they plan local outreach and enrollment activities and assess outcomes.
Plans, implements and monitors CKF-IN's advertising campaigns, , in collaboration with the Regional Director of Northern Indiana, making recommendations and evaluating efforts of local coalitions in the region.
Provides support and direction for CKF special events, such as the Annual Meeting and annual Indiana School Health Network Conference.
Provides support and technical assistance to existing and new CKF Coalitions in region.
Provides staff support to the CKF Local Coalitions Committee to determine and implement training, support and materials that meet the promotional and outreach needs of local coalitions in their respective regions.
Collaborates with the Regional Director of Northern Indiana on annual Local Coalition Retreat with support from other CKF-IN team members.
Assists with social media posts for CKF-IN.
Develops and maintains relationships and communication with private and public organizations (federal, state and local entities) that can further the goals of local coalitions to expand access to health coverage for uninsured children and families.
Represents CKF-IN and local coalitions at conferences, meetings, and other outside organization committees as agreed on by the Deputy Director of Operations.
Performs other duties as needed by the organization and as agreed in consultation with the Deputy Director of Operations.

Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.  At least five years' experience in the industry is required.
