MCCOY Inc., the community's youth services intermediary, is seeking a strategically thoughtful and action oriented individual to assume leadership of the Early Intervention and Prevention (EIP) Initiative.  The EIP Director leads MCCOY's efforts to coordinate services and supports for our community's vulnerable families and children with the goal of reducing child abuse, neglect, and juvenile delinquency.

MCCOY Inc. serves the community and those who work with youth as advocate, resource, capacity builder, and convener.  Throughout our 25 year history, our vision has been to build a community where all young people have access to the services and supports needed to thrive, learn, engage, and contribute.  The EIP Director is responsible for oversight and management of the EIP Initiative and for carrying out the EIP Strategic Plan in cooperation with multiple community partners.  The EIP Director works in partnership with a variety of partners---youth service providers, city-county councilors, school personnel, public agencies such as the Department of Child Services and Juvenile Court, and neighborhood residents in a comprehensive effort to strengthen the systems that support families and children in order to guide them to self-sufficiency.

Qualifications for the position:
A Bachelor's Degree is required, with a preference for a Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field.  A minimum of 5 years of experience, with a preference for at least 2 years of leadership in program development and implementation and project management, is expected.  A candidate with broad knowledge of youth serving systems, local human service support organizations, and community leadership is preferred.  Ideal candidate will be highly organized, deeply collaborative, and capable of building upon a foundation that has been established while open to innovation and new directions.
