The Advancement Associate position is responsible for managing annual giving and volunteer engagement at INHP.  This position will be responsible for utilizing solicitation strategies that include email, direct mail, phone, personal visitations and volunteer engagement to raise annual support for unrestricted and restricted programs. This will be achieved managing an existing fundraising portfolio consisting individuals and volunteers. In addition, this incumbent will be responsible for planning and executing donor stewardship and corporate and individual volunteer events. This individual will work closely with the Advancement Team and other departments to create and fulfill the donor and volunteer experience, from acquisition of new donors and volunteers to stewardship of existing donors and volunteers.
 
The Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership (INHP) is the leading neighborhood and homeownership resource in Marion County dedicated to neighborhood development and revitalization serving homeowners and homebuyers with low and moderate incomes.  INHP has empowered thousands of working families for over 30 years to become and remain homeowners. This is accomplished through an effective blend of homeownership education, financial and mortgage advising and a variety of affordable mortgage and loan options to buy a home or make improvements.  Our comprehensive homeowner and homebuyer services are designed to create and support homeowners who can sustain their investment in their homes-ultimately helping to strengthen and encourage the growth of vibrant Indianapolis neighborhoods. 
 
Specific duties of this position include but are not limited to:  conducting volunteer engagement campaigns; managing a portfolio of existing individual donors and volunteers;   identifying new prospective donors;  reporting donor and volunteer communication visits; training and scheduling volunteers;  leading an annual internal workplace campaign;  managing the planning and execution of INHP stewardship and volunteer events;  securing gift in-kind donation and managing inventory;  working with diverse constituencies;  etc. 
 
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, public relations, and/or another related field.  In addition, at least three years of minimum experience working in a previous funds development department in the following capacities is required:  annual giving; volunteer management; direct mail; event planning and/or individual giving.  Previous experience using fundraising and event planning platforms such as Raiser's Edge is preferred.
