Health Care Education & Training, Inc.'s (HCET) mission is to provide comprehensive program development, education, and training to improve reproductive and sexual health outcomes. HCET has offices in Indianapolis, IN. and Madison, WI. The HCET Training Manager is dedicated to reproductive health promotion and will maintain HCET's reputation for providing exceptional adult learning opportunities, program support, evaluation, and fidelity management. The incumbent is responsible for developing high-quality web-based and in-person trainings, meetings for public health professionals, and providing programming support to HCET's reproductive and sexual health programs. Reporting to the Director of Community Health, the Training Manager works on training and program support related activities for multiple projects across the organization.
 
Responsibilities:
• Provide education, training opportunities, programming, meeting planning, and other support to state and federally funded family planning agencies, STD program partners, adolescent health professionals, and others.
• Provide program implementation support for HCET projects, including:
    o Conducting program site visits with partners and providing timely written and verbal feedback 
    o Coordinate monthly collaborative meetings with project partners and facilitators
    o Work closely with programs to ensure program implementation with fidelity 
• Develop annual organizational training plan in collaboration with other Training Manager, HCET Directors, and Project Managers.
• Plan and manage all online and in-person training events/meetings for HCET projects
• Lead planning committees for online and in-person trainings and meetings. 
• Lead each training event/meeting by introducing speakers, moderating online programs, and actively managing event details with an eye toward quality.
• Select, supervise, and evaluate training consultants and vendors.
• Manage and monitor event budgets.
• Complete all nursing contact hour and other continuing education activities.
• Design and deliver presentations at trainings and meetings.
• Coordinate, with Outreach Coordinator, the dissemination of curricula, toolkits, and other training materials to partner staff. 
• Assist with design, promotion, analysis and dissemination of training needs assessments.
• Participate in HCET project evaluation activities.
• Assist with preparation of required grant and project reports.
• Travel in-state, regionally, and nationally as required (roughly 10-15%)
• Participate in professional development opportunities as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Requirements:
• Commitment to reproductive and sexual health programs and access for all. 
• 3+ years in public health, reproductive and sexual health, social work, or related field.
• 3+ years developing and delivering in person/online training for adult professionals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow HCET staff, health care professionals, state and federal partners, and community-based professionals. 
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
