Technology & Operations Team
 
United Way of Central Indiana recognizes that the key to success is a strong and cohesive team that works through shared values to achieve our mission. The Software Support Manager is a member of the IT & Operations team and is responsible for the adoption and usage of organizational software; training and support for Microsoft Office 365 applications and CRM software; development and maintenance of SharePoint intranet site for the organization; leading the internal use of Power BI for organizational analytics; monitoring helpdesk ticket resolution by IT support vendor and identify patterns that arise; and provide support for CRM database and workplace engagement platforms, as needed.
 
Position Duties & Responsibilities
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.  They are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified. 
• Build SharePoint infrastructure for organization's intranet. Develop, launch and maintain landing pages to help users access needed tools more easily.
• Develop documentation for software applications for user knowledge base.
• Train all users on best practices and fundamentals for using various MS applications.
• Train all team members annually, and temporary staff as needed, on cyber security precautions and organizational security protocols.
• Manage the deployment and administration of new applications. Ensure software features meet business needs and are high quality.
• Provide data analytics using Power BI dashboards and other tools to aid in decision-making.
• Support the development of new application features and capabilities.
• Maintain comprehensive software list used throughout the organization. Conduct periodic needs assessments for organization.
• Ensure security of data usage and storage by all users throughout organization.
• Collect, monitor, and present important system metrics to stakeholders.
• Assist UWCI team members with complex data extraction, importing, and analysis.
• Import large amounts of data from various file formats (CSV, Excel, XLM, etc.) to a CRM system while ensuring integrity of the data.
• Track application issues with vendors and communicate issues to key stakeholders.
• Provide support for CRM database and workplace engagement tools, as needed.
• Create routine information pages for digital signage regarding technology.
• Collects periodic customer feedback on services provided.
• Provide timely, courteous and professional service to requests from internal and external customers.
• Performs special assignments and other work, on an as-needed basis.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree, 2-3 years of Microsoft SharePoint development experience and Office 365 expertise required. The position will provide expert application coaching, training and feature knowledge to team members regarding OneDrive, SharePoint, Power BI, Excel, Access and other Microsoft applications. Immediate emphasis on SharePoint adoption and training is required. Experience with data integration software and SQL are preferred. Knowledge and experience with Salesforce and/or Microsoft Dynamics CRM also preferred.
 
Must demonstrate competencies in maintaining critical data integrity and confidentiality, attention to detail, and applied technical skills. Excellent time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills with the ability to plan and follow-through required. Experience working with third party technology vendors preferred. Must have the flexibility to work in a fast paced and open concept office environment.
