Oasis offers an exciting leadership opportunity with Indianapolis Oasis.  Indianapolis Oasis is part of a national network of other regional centers and the Oasis Institute, a national nonprofit organization, headquartered in St. Louis, with a mission to promote healthy aging through lifelong learning, health promotion and volunteer engagement. 
• (35%) Hire, train, manage, and evaluate staff and volunteers.  Build a strong staff and volunteer team to ensure that the productivity and actions of the group meet/support the overall operational goals, including, but not limited to:
   o   Make Oasis vibrant and welcoming for its community of lifelong learners, volunteers and staff.
   o   Review and maintain the Indianapolis Oasis website content so it is current and active.
   o   Develop programs, classes, and social-connection opportunities that attract a growing and diverse population and generate increased net revenue.
   o   Engage volunteers to support all aspects of Oasis operations and community initiatives.
• (30%) Implement a donor development strategy in collaboration with the Oasis Institute National Development Director.  Development initiatives will include individual donor development, foundation and corporate grant writing, and pursuing public-sector funding opportunities.
• (7.5%) Prepare and manage the annual operating budget and oversee all related financial matters.
• (7.5%) Develop community partnerships that will expand the reach to a broad and diverse audience.
• (5%) Conduct Board meetings, recruit new Board members, communicate actively with the Board.
• (5%) Implement public relations efforts to build a strong Oasis identity in the region.
• (5%) Work with the Oasis Institute to pilot new programs and strategies for national dissemination.
• (5%) Monitor earned revenue and make price, class title and content, instructor, and schedule adjustments as necessary to ensure a financially diverse and sustainable organization.
• Bachelors degree in business, nonprofit management or a related field  
• 5- 10 years related experience 
• Experience with grant writing, donor development, and campaign management
• 2-5 years supervisory experience
• Excellent management, financial and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office Applications
• Record of successfully managing staff within a team environment to achieve goals
• Master's Degree
• Demonstrated ability to manage change
• Volunteer management experience
