Part-time: 30 hours per week
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for leading the talent acquisition functions of the organization. Key job duties include candidate sourcing strategies, working with hiring managers on recruitment needs, assessing candidates as needed and managing recruitment reporting and metrics. Ensures job openings are posting internally and externally and responsible for applicant tracking system accuracy. May assist with new hire onboarding and support general HR duties as needed.

• Leads the recruitment and sourcing strategies for all positions in the organization
• Responsible for preparing internal and external job postings and coordinating with hiring managers to review job applicant's qualifications, narrow candidate pool, screen candidates and conduct interviews at varying stages based on role and timing.
• Drives recruitment process and maintains a time-to-fil rate of no more than 30 days per position.
• Oversees and optimizes job applicant tracking system, monitoring candidate flow and running timely reports for management review.
• Researches and develops resources for ongoing recruitment of diverse candidates; develop relationships with colleges and community resources. Creates and implements strategic approach to job fair and community recruitment efforts; coordinating staffing plans, outreach efforts and attending events as needed,
• Provides direct support and guidance to hiring managers relative to the recruitment process.
• Engages in direct outreach to active and passive candidates.
• Networks to establish community partnerships for candidate sourcing
• Provides training on hiring and recruiting techniques and applicant tracking system for new and existing
• Works closely with the HR Manager to ensure a smooth transition from hiring process to onboarding.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
• Assists HR Manager in conducting new employee orientation, and preparing new hire paperwork packets, and Employee Handbooks as needed.
• Assists with maintaining employment records, filing systems, and other departmental records.
• Maintains a professional working relationship with internal/external administrative/program staff
• Visits program sites at least quarterly and more frequently when possible, to understand staffing and hiring needs
• Works cooperatively with all team members
• Serves on committees as assigned
• Performs all other duties as assigned
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience.
• High School degree required, bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years talent acquisition/recruitment as a primary role is required.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems required.
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification is preferred.

• Ability to be proactive, take initiative, and be able to identify tasks to be completed and initiate without prompting
• Must be highly tactful, exercise confidentiality and represent the organization in a professional manner at all times both in appearance and demeanor

• Must be punctual and highly organized
• Valid driver's license required and reliable transportation
